İNGREDİENTS:
4 cups long grain rice
1 chicken
4 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup raisins
10 apricots
10 pieces chestnut
turmeric or saffron
salt, pepper
INGREDIENTS:
After cleaning and washing the chicken, cut it into small pieces. Add water and cook until tender. First, when the water boils, we collect the foam and add salt.

After cleaning and washing the onion, cut it into quarters and chop it thinly. Add oil and a little salt and fry until golden brown.

Remove the cooked chicken from the water and fry in oil on all sides. Add the fried onion to the chicken and fry over medium heat for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. The cleaned and roasted raisins, apricots and chestnuts cook separately.

Pour the water into a large saucepan. Add salt to the water. (For a 5-liter saucepan — 2 heaped teaspoons of salt.) When it boils, add the washed rice and cook.

Fluff the rice with a fork while you pour it out so that it doesn’t stick together. Before the rice is fully cooked, add some raisins to the rice and sprinkle with turmeric or brewed saffron. And let plov steam. Plov is cooked for 1 hour. Serve chicken with dry fruits together. Enjoy your meal!
