AZERBAIJANI STYLE WALNUT KYATA

For the dough:

250 g butter

250 g sour cream

4-4.5 tbsp flour

1 packet of baking powder

1 packet of vanilla

1/2 tsp. salt.

For the filling:

3 tbsp. walnut kernels mixed with powdered sugar.

For the topping: 1 egg.

Preparation:

Pour the flour into a bowl and rub it with oil.

Add the sour cream, baking powder, salt and vanilla and knead the dough.

It will be a soft dough.

Filling for kyata

Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

Spread with the filling on top.

Roll it up like a roll.

Divide the dough into equal parts with a serrated knife.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the prepared rolls. Brush with egg. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until the top is golden brown. Enjoy!
